Catherine Odumu Garba presently serves as the Administrative Coordinator at Africa CDC, bringing to the table a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years within the realm of international organizations. Her expertise lies in the proficient management of administration, finance, human resources, programs, grants, systems, and policies, specifically within the dynamic landscape of public health.
Before assuming her current role at Africa CDC, Catherine held pivotal positions such as the Finance and Administration Manager at the Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA), the Program Officer at USDA – Partners for Development, and the Administrative and Finance Officer at USAID ACCESS. She also made notable contributions as the Program Administrator at AFENET Nigeria, effectively supported multiple donor projects under NCDC, including the US CDC PACT Projects, which spanned 36 states in Nigeria.
Catherine’s academic journey reflects her commitment to continual growth and development. With a Master’s in Business administration, a Diploma in Project Management, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Development Policy, Planning, and Administration, she has fortified her professional repertoire. She is an esteemed member of the Institute of Corporate Administrators and a member Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management. Catherine is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Health Management, a testament to her unwavering dedication to advancing the field of public health.
