Carol Milambo - Mufana is Workforce Development Advisor for United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA)’s International Health Regulations Strengthening Project in Zambia, where she supports the Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) to have adequate numbers of appropriately skilled staff to meet its public health security mandate. She also contributes to Zambia’s One Health activities through ZNPHI.
Carol has a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources Management; a Master of Business Administration Specializing in Public Health Management and has undergone short-term training on Concepts of One Health, provided by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and its partners . She is passionate about harmony in the workplace through leadership skills development at all levels and is interested in preparing for and mitigating the effects of climate change on health. Carol is a PhD (Environmental Change and Health) fellow at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, formally commencing her studies in February 2024.
