Carol Milambo – Mufana is the Acting Country Lead for United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA)’s International Health Regulations Strengthening Project in Zambia. In addition to overseeing the work of the project in Zambia, she is a Workforce Development Advisor who supports the Zambia National Public Health Institute to have adequate numbers of appropriately skilled staff to meet its public health security mandate.
Carol has a Bachelor of Science in Environment and Natural Resources Management, a Master of Business Administration specializing in Public Health Management and recently underwent short-term training on Concepts of One Health. She has over 13 years’ work experience, 10 of which are in health workforce planning and development-related roles.
Carol is passionate about harmony in the workplace through leadership skills development at all levels. She is also interested in preparing for and mitigating the effects of climate change on health.
