Fastone Goma is a practicing Physician, an Associate Professor of Physiology and Cardiovascular Health, and the Director for the Centre for Primary Care Research (CPCR) at the University of Zambia, School of Medicine. He is also an appointed Senior Scholar to the WHO Collaboration Centre for Health Workforce Planning and Research, University of Dalhousie, Canada and the Founding President for the Zambia Heart and Stroke Foundation (ZAHESFO). He is the Chairman of the Zambia Tobacco Control Consortium (ZTCC), a collection of civil society organizations promoting tobacco control.
