Mulemwa Moongwa is a Certified Meetings Professional and Certified Events Designer from Lusaka, Zambia. A Business Tourism Specialist, she has built a career working in high profile government to government (G2G) and government to business (G2B) events for the past eighteen years. Having recently completed the prescribed learning for the Certified International Convention Executive and the Global Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate, Mulemwa will be supporting the CPHIA Secretariat in Lusaka in coordinating the event and stakeholders.
Mulemwa serves as a Board Member of the Tourism Council of Zambia, Vice Chairperson of the Events Professionals Association of Zambia. In September 2022, she was appointed to serve as the Chairperson of the Governing Council of the Zambia Institute of Hospitality and Tourism Studies in recognition of her continued efforts at addressing the human gaps in the recovery of the Tourism Industry not only in Zambia but the continent as a whole. In October 2022, Mulemwa was recognised by the Meetings Professional International for her efforts in promoting the Meetings industry in Africa
