G. Nekerwon Gweh is a dynamic communications professional with more than seven years’ experience in broadcast journalism, public relations, advocacy and Strategic Communications. Currently, he serves as Communications Officer at Africa CDC, responsible for Mass Media Engagement and outreaches for the institution. In addition to his portfolio, Nekerwon also provides technical guidance for the Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) workstream, where he supports the development of strategic plan and activities for RCCE and oversees the conception of creative awareness campaigns for different audiences and communication platforms during health emergencies. He has an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication and a Masters in Project Management, with emphasis in project risk and communication management.
Nekerwon supports the CPHIA Secretariat as the lead for communications and media engagements.
