Organized by Africa Health Business
To strengthen health security in Africa, there must be an agenda to develop a sustainable, local manufacturing industry in the continent. This will increase access to health products, reduce reliance on other regions, and serve as a safety net when health crises strike. This session seeks to facilitate discussions on improving domestic manufacturing capacities across the continent which supports Africa CDC’s aspiration for a New Public Health Order. The desired outcomes include stimulating dialogues on policy frameworks, investment opportunities, and regulatory environments to drive the growth of a robust and sustainable manufacturing
