Carol Ruffell is the Director of DNDi GARDP Southern Africa, a registered non-profit South African company. DNDi GARDP Southern Africa was created by the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP) and Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi), and it supports both GARDP and DNDi’s missions as partner in each of their respective international networks.
Carol is an experienced executive within the pharmaceutical industry where she worked for GSK and Johnson & Johnson for a cumulative period of 20 years before joining the DNDi and GARDP networks. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Rhodes University in South Africa and Master’s in International Public Health from the University of Liverpool, UK.
