Eva Mwai is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in social development and organizational leadership. She is deeply committed to improving last-mile healthcare and is a strong advocate for the health rights of underserved populations. Eva has successfully managed a wide range of social programs in both rural and urban settings. She firmly believes that local communities have the capacity to design and implement programs that can positively impact their lives.

Eva currently serves as a director at North Star Alliance, where she provides strategic direction and leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree in social transformation and management and possesses expertise in strategic leadership, project management, and the development and execution of organizational strategy.

Eva has received awards in recognition of her dedication to her field of work. In 2021, she was selected as one of Apolitical’s 100 nominees for the most influential individuals in gender and policy worldwide.

Additionally, she was honored with the Africa Woman in Supply Chain Leadership Award in 2018 by Pamela Steele Associates Limited, an organization dedicated to promoting gender equality in supply chain leadership.
