Prof Heikel is the President of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the International University of Casablanca. He is a graduate in Nutrition & Metabolic Diseases, and Diabetology, and an international expert in Health Management.

Prof Heikel is a holder of a Doctorate in Medicine (MD), a Master of Science (MSc.) In Community Health, a Doctorate of State (PhD) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, an MBA in Business Administration (Management , Finance and Organization) obtained at the Universities of Montreal and Sherbrooke and a Masters of Science (MSc) in Leadership at Revans University in London.
