This side event aims to update participants on recent research and successful demonstration of interventions to support the mental health and wellbeing of people affected by NTDs. We will share new developments in the intersection off NTDs, mental health and sigma, and provide an overview of the latest evidence, present case studies of successful integration into national health systems (using the example of Nigeria) and explore strategies for operationalisation of new global guidance at national level.
