In the face of escalating health threats, swift and coordinated emergency response is paramount. Recognizing this critical need, the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) have forged a formidable partnership through the Joint Emergency Action Plan to establish a cadre of 3,000 highly trained first responders, forming a cornerstone of Africa’s emergency preparedness and response infrastructure. This event aims to streamline response efforts across public health agencies to ensure greater efficiency and amplify the impact of emergency response efforts across the African continent.
